TV: Sometimes when we watch TV the remote will randomly turn down the
volume. Most of the time we attribute this to the finicky broken
button on the old remote, but sometimes it happens at just the right time
that it makes you wonder. Sometimes we can all be sitting still
and the remote is not even pointed at the TV and it will turn down the
volume by 2 or so notches. Other times it will turn down all
the way to the point where you have to take out the batteries to make it
stop the commands. This is just something silly though...

Microwave: Our microwave has randomly acted funny in the past as well.
The remote control is actually a regular occurrence, but the microwave
really has only ever done it a couple of times in close proximity to each
other, and has not done it in a number of years. There are at least
2 instances I can think of where we have been awakened by the microwave
beeping all by itself. When we got up to check, we were standing
right in front of it and the screen would start to add ones; like 00:01,
00:11, 11:11 (thankfully not 666, lol). Both instances were in the
middle of the night and if memory serves around 3:00 am - which as you
know is the time of the antichrist (or 3:30 I’m not sure). Another
case, the microwave started to beep again in the middle of the night, this
time actually spelt out what appeared to be the word "child".
These occurrences are not specific to this microwave, our old one had
acted funny by beeping on its own and then died a short time after.
After each microwave occurrence though something significant happened in
our lives, perhaps this was a way of communicating with us?

Explanations?: Many 'experts' claim that spiritual activity can manifest
itself in terms of energies that we can sense such as thermal or
electromagnetic. It may just be that certain areas of our home are
more susceptible to random electromagnetic activity from power lines or
natural phenomena. Or, it
maybe that there is residual energy from past occurrences that thus
present themselves in a cyclical manner that we are able to interpret i.e.
electrical interference with sensitive electronics.
It may also be an intelligent source that we are not able to
perceive. We can only perceive
3 dimensions, technically 4 if you include how those three dimensions
change with time. Current
theoretical physics predicts the existence of 11 dimensions, of which we
can only perceive 4. Could it
be that all of these electrical signals, random occurrences, etc that we
call white noise is actually something that we are not able to decode?
That these sometimes ‘intelligent’ occurrences are actually
signal that we cannot understand and thus dismiss as coincidence?
In a universe this complex as it is perceived by the equations we
use to attempt explaining it, coincidences are exceedingly improbable.

Hi Brent,
Last night my friend and I were driving on Edison St. (corner of
Falconbridge Highway) and had to stop to let a truck drive past us. As
soon as the truck was completely past us my friend and I both saw this
flash which I can only describe like that of a camera. It was so bright I
actually closed my eyes and tried to look away. It seemed to come from
right in front of my face. My friend coroborates this because he was the
one who said right after "What was that flash? It came from your side
of the car." It was intensely bright, so we tried to recreate it. We
waited until another car had driven by, just in case it was the tail
lights or something we missed. Then we experimented with the Ipod in the
car but nothing was as bright as what had flashed either in front or
beside me. Wondering if you had ever heard of anyone experiencing
something similar.

2009-06-28 Zimbabwe horror story sent

It was late December in Zimbabwe towards Christmas time when all industrial
workers have shut down for Christmas holiday. All the immigrant workers
will do shopping for their families back home in villages. My cousin
bought some groceries and new clothes for his wife and kids to put on Christmas
sure. This time in southern Africa it will be raining and vegetation will
be green, people, animals, and plants will surely be in the festive mood,
however even though some will be celebrating this is the time which ghosts
will be very active. They get attracted by the darkness and lightning
during this season. So in the villages peasants farmers they go and plant
ang grow their crops in some fields that will be a distance from home this
can be 5 km distances from the comfort of home so they ferry food that
they will eat all day and come back evening. Since it is rain season
they also built some shacks , tents or shades that they take shelter
when it is raining or eating at their meal breaks. so these shade wont be
destroyed until end of season.
So on this Friday night my cousin was coming from Harare going back to his
family and wife with his shopping he did not have a car. On this
night the moon was not shining because there was a dark cloud and storm
was raging at a distance coming towards the village. My cousin get off the
bus and carry his shopping as he was approaching the fields it started
raining heavily, and lightening was so bad. So he decided to take shelter
since he was no way near home. He went into the shade that their family
had at their field. Now A witch stole a corpse at the nearby hospital morgue
and was taking it where they will do their rituals and eat some parts of
it. The law there dose not allow you to accuse someone to be a witch
unless you have strong and hard evidence. SO the witch also took a refuge
in the same shade nobody knew that there was another person in the same
shade. So lightning struck and there was a huge flash of light that
simulated a day light. This is where the trouble started. The light was so
bright that these 2 guys they saw each other and the witch panic. he
thought that the dead body he stole has come back to life and My cousin
saw that there was someone in the shade and ran away he thought he could
be robbed of his possessions and in worst case scenario he could be
killed. So he ran away and the witch ran after him thinking that the man
running was the body stole. He suddenly arrived at house which
was just by the road he banged the door and just walked in and could not
say anything for 36 hours he would not talk because of the shock and fear
he had experienced and until today he does not walk in darkness.
Please feel free to change the names of the characters to suit your needs
and this is a true story.
